We’re excited to announce that Alamogordo Public Schools is launching Rooms, a new way for families to connect directly with their child’s teachers, coaches, and school staff, all within the APS app. Starting in the 26/27 school year, Rooms will become the go-to place for classroom updates, one-on-one conversations, and group messages. This allows us to give you one secure place to stay informed and connected to Alamogordo Public Schools.

💊🩺New Mexico State University, Alamogordo (NMSU-A), is exploring interest in a three-day “Scrubs Camp” for students in grades 8-12 and 2026 high school graduates who are considering a career in healthcare. The camp will be led by current NMSU-A Health Sciences students and faculty, offering a valuable opportunity to immerse yourself in the healthcare field and discover if it’s the right path for you!👩⚕️💉

The HOPE Team is now accepting registration for our annual Healing Hearts Grief Camp for students who have experienced the loss of a family member or loved one.
This special camp provides a safe, supportive, and caring environment where students can connect with others, express emotions, learn healthy coping skills, and begin healing through activities, discussions, and support.

🕘 Class days will vary based on student age groups.

🚌 Note: Tomorrow, Thursday, May 21, school buses will run twice. Buses will first pick up Kindergarten, 6th-grade, and 9th-grade students for early release. They will then return later for the normal dismissal of all other students.
On Friday, May 22, buses will run according to the early release schedule.
