Technology Support Services Overview
Technology Support Services (TSS) provides excellent service, response, and training for all District technology resources.
The TSS department strives to:
- Maintain quality technical support services and provide sound advice,
- Assure a courteous and timely response to work order requests,
- Assist in the future planning of Technology Resources,
- Facilitate and support the operation of technical equipment and software,
- Facilitate the purchasing of licensing of District- and School-level software programs,
- Provide necessary technical training and education to staff in order to promote success for staff and students, and
- Maintain a high-functioning network and internet services.
The following technologies supported by the TSS office include:
- Desktop, laptop, and Chromebook computers
- Mobile devices (tablets, cell phones, etc.)
- Printers and scanners
- Servers and server-based software
- Networking
- User accounts and security
- Telephones and communications systems
- G Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other productivity and education software
- Audio/Visual systems
- Online testing platforms
