Businesses in our Schools Graphic

What is the purpose of the “Businesses in Schools” program? The “Businesses in Schools” program, an initiative from Alamogordo Public Schools, aims to foster active partnerships between local businesses and schools. Its goal is to support real-world learning and help develop students into skilled communicators, resilient achievers, innovative thinkers, self-aware learners, and global citizens. The program encourages businesses to adopt a school, volunteer for a minimum of two school events annually, and collaborate with school administrators to enhance educational activities.

Businesses that participate will have the chance to strengthen community connections, inspire students, and showcase their commitment to education. Furthermore, Alamogordo Public Schools will recognize their contributions by featuring them on the district’s website and social media platforms, providing valuable acknowledgment for their community support.
